The concept of the redesign book is on idea of time

and art of letterforms. It signifies the study of

calligraphy in understanding the written letters.

Through an original imagery, it focuses on its distinct

forms and uses colors in communicating the

essence of each calligraphic style.

This is the original book which is too plain,

with no system and personality.

As it starts with the general overview of letterforms,

the reader is able to visualize how writing evolved

through time. The design portrays the tools used

in writing such as the stone engravings, brush

strokes, ink, and papyrus texture.

Examples of the writing from each time era

that show their relationship and progression.

It starts from the origin in the historical context -

the Greek alphabets from the Roman era to the

modern day san-serif.
